Sensex closes 17 points down

Sensex ends down

Mumbai: On the last day of the week, there was a lot of fluctuations in the market. Sensex and Nifty closed flat Sensex in today’s business managed to reach record high of 36,740 at the highest level. The Nifty knocked at 11,071.35. The BSE 30-share index Sensex fell by 7 points to close at 36,542 level. On the other hand, NSE’s 50-share index Nifty closed 4 points at 11,019 level.

Media, FMCG, Pharma, Metal, PSU Bank, Realty, Capital Goods and Power shares have seen pressure. Bank Nifty closed down 0.3 percent to close at 26,940. The mid-caps and smallcap stocks have been beaten strongly. BSE’s mid-cap index has closed down by 0.8 percent. Nifty’s mid-caps 100 Index has declined 1.1 percent. The BSE’s smallcap index has fallen by 1.4 percent and closed.

Among the giants, G. Entertainment, Bharti Infratel, ULL, ONGC, Axis Bank, ITC, SBI and ICICI Bank were down by 4.7-1.6 per cent. However, Titan, BPCL, Bajaj Finance, Infosys, Reliance Industries, Bajaj Auto, Asian Paints and Coal India have climbed up to 3.7-1 per cent in giants.

Jindal Steel, Home Finance, Indian Bank, Bank of India and Canara Bank have closed down by 5.8-3.9 per cent in mid-cap stocks. However, Adani Enterprises, Amphassis, Shriram Transport, Alchem Lab and IDBI Bank are up and running in mid-cap stocks for 6-1.8 per cent.

In smallcap stocks, PVR, TGB bankquets, NCC, GNFC and Karnataka Bank have broken down to 13.1-8 per cent. However, RS Software, Arihant Super, Gabriel India, Sonata and HOEC in smallcap stocks have been strengthened by 19.9-5.3 per cent.

Closed market at a high level of 5 months

MUMBAI: The stock market tightened after the positive of global cues and the rise in the shares of Reliance Industries and the financial results of Tata Consultancy Services (TCS). At the end of the trading, the Sensex climbed 305 points to close at 36240 level. For the first time since February 1, 2018, the Sensex crossed the level of 36000. At the same time, the Nifty closed at the level of 10947 with a gain of 94 points. During the business, Reliance Industries has been growing at more than 2.5 percent. At the same time, it has been buying in IT and bank stocks.

Stocks of HCL Tech, Adani Ports, Hindalco, Infosys, RIL, ONGC, Sterlite Technology, DBL, Reliance Naval and Warkangi are up 7% in the trading on Tuesday. At the same time, stocks of Yes Bank, Axis Bank, Avanti Feeds, Hexaware, Hindustan Petroleum, Vedanta Limited, Asian Paints, GPPL and Shopper Stop are falling by 2.5 per cent.

During trading, all 10 indexes except for pharma are closed in the green mark on the Nifty. The business has seen the fastest growth in the metal and PSU bank index. FMCG, Bank Nifty, Auto, Realty, IT and Private Bank Index are closed in all green mark. The mid-cap index has been trading over 100 points on the BSE.
